          DSI Logistics is a full service distribution company headquartered in Houston, Texas.  DSI and its affiliates offer you over two million cubic feet that is carefully planned, maintained, and controlled, guaranteeing safe storage and distribution of goods. Our distribution area includes, through the deep water Port of Houston, the International Marketplace.
          Started in 1977, DSI's success today is the result of the dreams and determinations of a small group of very knowledgeable people. Originally from the industrial northeast, we knew the importance of the growing Sunbelt area. The import and export possibilities have always been extremely attractive in Houston. Domestically, the freight consolidation programs we have developed throughout Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and north to pool points in the central states.
          How do we do it? With our warehouse equipment, computers, and most of all, with people. People in a variety of jobs, all dedicated to doing the best job for their customers. Temperature Controlled Storage
Our temperature controlled areas accommodate every major demand dictated by your storage and handling requirements:

  • Air conditioned space maintained at a constant temperature of 65 degrees and 50% humidity for semi-perishable products.
  • A controlled environment designed specifically for beer, candy, and other products sensitive to heat and humidity.

High Sanitation Standards
Our sanitation standards go beyond federal, state, and local regulations:

  • A white, 18'' wide, rodent run outlines the entire perimeter of the warehouse's outside wall, inspected daily for pest activity.
  • Daily internal sanitation inspections include crack and crevice spraying and weekly fogging for insects.
  • Inbound vehicle inspections include spot backlighting of products.
  • Outbound vehicles are inspected for integrity and cleanliness.

Advanced Computerized System
The nerve center of inventory control is geared for maximum flexibility, capable of producing:

  • Automated warehouse receipts and delivery orders.
  • Consolidation rating and invoicing.
